Which I think is a very creative idea. It makes children want to learn or push themselves harder when an incentive is invovled. Not only do they give rewards they have provided school supplies,toys and educational services . CoYOUnity serves as a positive figure in the community. Making sure children are able to have the necessities they need. Their goal is to Inspire and Influence children while keeping them Intrigued. The organization will be hosting their first annual fundraiser and award ceremony September 29th 2018 with special guest Judge Lynn Toler.

STUNT GANG CARES
Brooklyn New York native Safaree is a rapper, songwriter, television personality and has now introduced STUNT GANG CARES. Which is his organization that presented its first annual back to school drive. Many sponsors such as #QCUTS @q.cutss who gave free haircuts, homemade lemonade, #ATT @att was in attendance with phone deals and chef on duty. Safaree provided music, bouncy houses, cotton candy, and of course bookbags filled with school supplies. There were performances by local Brooklyn children's band and dance teams. Dance contest and spelling bees took place to keep the children active. STUNT GANG CARES @snapsnyc made sure every person there had a great time. The interaction from Safaree and his younger fans was awe-inspiring. He did an amazing job helping children prepare for back to school. I look forward to next year's event

Tonight was nothing short of Greatness for female rap artist Bianca Bonnie. She entered so eagerly to showcase her new songs. Her album release party at LeSouk was LIT. Her presence of achievement with her success filled the atmosphere . Along with her tonight was her long time friend DJ WEBSTAR among her friends and family.

The title O.G. stands for Original Gangster and Nya Lee has definitely earned the title. Her sound is unique and her music on this album is one of a kind.As a female rapper being compared to pioneers is likely to happen but her talent is far from many new comers in the music industry. 
BUTTERFLY COLLECTION CO LAUNCHED THEIR LINGERIE LINE and it was an empowering event for all women. The Butterfly Collection prides themselves in supporting domestic violence awareness. They are partnered with Safe Horizon which is an agency that helps provide support for women and moves victims of domestic violence from "Crisis to Confidence". The Butterfly Collection is a lingerie company that caters to supplying women with comfortable custom bras and panties. The designer was inspired by her mother and aunt growing up with them being strong independent women. It impacted her life and she wanted to make the same impact on other women's lives. Her lingerie company is a sponsor of domestic violence. They also help collect donations for Safe Horizon. The Butterfly Collection is helping fight the fight against abuse towards women. The event was hosted by Shamika Sanders Marie Driven with special guest performance by Mariahlynn from Love and Hip Hop New York.

Casanova's Commissary is out now and it features A Boogie wirh the Hoodie , Rich the Kid and Fabolous. My faves are "Down Bitch " , "Go Bestfriend", and Gripped up " . I feel a lil' thuggish when I play Gripped Up. The 2x Roc Nation's rapper talks about his life in prison and not ever wanting to go back. This Brooklyn bred and born rap artist is living his best life with fame and won't let anything get in the way of it.

SOB's in NYC the home of hip hop was packed with everyone waiting to see who will be the opening act for HFTH. Meet the winner of the Who's Next opener competition to perform for the Hot Fot The Holidays show presented by Hot 97. Rajan might be the next hottest thing out of Canada. His performance was energy filled . He is definitely a crowd pleaser. The judges were impressed by his stage presence and interaction with the crowd. Judged by TT Torrez , DJ Enuff, Drewski , and Jeylina Burgos from 300 Ent he impressed them all . As well as the online viewers who participated in the voting. Big Baller Aidonia celebrated his birthday in Queens,NY by giving his fans a show full of vibes. Rocking out to his latest music and some throwbacks for his day one fans. Shelling the place with hits like ' Big Baller', 'Badman Salute' and 'So Good' he left the crowd wanting more. When 'Badman Salute' came on the participation of the fans singing along to the lyrics became unison. Aidonia paid homage to some of dancehall's first artist that paved the way for him to excel in his career. He electrified the stage with his bad man sound and sending the ladies in a frenzy over his sexually desirous songs. Performing alongside self proclaimed "Princess of Dancehall" as her 'Sheng Yengz' were in attendance for her hit song 'Shen Yeng Anthem' and many more. The event was hosted by Platinum Kids at Amazura Nightclub. This was a night to remember.

I've been following her career since 2013 and she has become greater in her skill. The talent and flow she has is a mix of #LILKIM #NICKIMINAJ AND #TRINA . As I stated before " For female rap artist being compared to pioneers is likely to happen but she has incorporated her own lane and is far from a new comer in this industry. The sounds of "The Snapback " EP #2017 and "Fur Season" #2015 has evolved. This Pitbull in a Skirt has now turned to a Lioness in her Jungle. Her growth in delivery of her music has definitely kept me a fan. I'm always interested in what she has coming out next.
ANYTHING GOES LIVE!
September 1,2018 DJ Norie presented his bi-annual Carribean Concert Anything Goes Live. Which included some of the most prominent carribean artist in the world. This year for Labor Day Weekend influential performers like Agent Sasco, Safaree, Spragga Benz, Skinny Fabulous, Blak Ryno, new comers Dovey Magnum, Tosh Alexander, Nailah Blackman, legends like Red Rat, RDX, Rayvon gave a show to remember. Soca artist Shal Marshall had the crowd pumping with his hit " Splinters". When Spragga Benz took to the stage his performance was one of the most significant of the night. The Red square artist came to hype up the show with hits like "We Nuh Like" and "Backshot". The ladies had the audience intune with their sexy, hardcore, and playful lyrics. Bawl out sensation Dovey Magnum taught the crowd a few new things for the bedroom while Tosh Alexander kept it cute and delivered a monumental performance. The legendary Red Rat executed his oldie but goodie "Oh No". This show was phenomenal. Don't forget to catch DJ Norie Sundays 8pm-10pm on Power 105.1 playing all the hot carribean music. DJ Norie this was for sure a success. Let's see what he has in-store for next year.

Tonight Rising Jamaican artist Tosh Alexander was in attendance at Anything Goes Live presented by DJ Norie in which she delivered a monumental performance. Her sound is developed and original.Now a more seasoned artist she took the stage by storm and had the crowd intune with her vocals. I look forward to hearing more from this songstress.

This young rapper from Harlem is a phenom. Neek buck's mixtape NEEK WEEK Vol 1 is out and this young buck has captivating bars . From production to verbiage I was hooked. New York rap was falling off to me a few years back. Coming from an era of Nas, Biggie, The Lox, and Jay Z just to name a few,not hearing good rap music for a while was stagnant. I mean real hard-core rap like rappers that actually live the life they rap about was dying . Then hear comes Neek just one of the few I feel is putting New York back on the scene as the undefeated home of rap. His lyrics are diverse. He has worked with Dave East and Jim Jones and many others to come. Neek is up next.

COLORISM IS REAL !
Discrimination based on skin color, also known as colorism or shadeism, is a form of prejudice or discrimination in which people are treated differently based on the social meanings attached to skin color is defined as colorism. In the black community colorism is experienced a lot amongst the race by it's own race. You're too dark or you're too lightskin is heard within the masses of the black race. Which is sad knowing that black people already bare much discrimination outside the race. SPICE is a Jamaican Dancehall artist who has experienced colorism too often in her career. Her new hit Black Hypocrisy is trending at number 1 on the U.S. itunes charts and has reached over 2 million views on YouTube. Making the decision to address those who speak down on her beautiful skin, she posted a photo via Instagram that sparked conversation for days. This photo shows how a person opinion of others can affect them. The depiction expresses to me that if she were a lighter complexion some people would accept her more. Being so brave and showing young black girls and woman that they can relate to her in her personal life dealings not just in her music. The strategic planning has brought her much recognition by topping the charts. This heart felt song is going to help break barriers of discrimination within the black community. Well done Spice.

Soulja Boy has done nothing but shown receipts as proclaiming he is indeed one of the G.O.A.T. It has been proven this week that even Ariana Grande has sampled his style of swag in her new single "7 Rings". He waa a guest on Power 105.1 Breakfast Club Morning show where he had an heated, comical but informal interview. Soulja let us all know he gave Drake his influenece in his hit song " Miss Me" ft Lil Wayne. Soulja Boy has graced the music industry with good music and new dance moves since emerging on the music scene. We all heard of B2K, Usher and Chris Brown. But I'd like to introduce you to the R & B group Exit 21. The group created their name emerging from Long Island, NY. They used the exit off the Southern State Parkway which leads to their stomping grounds. Ron, Shawn Foxx, B-Smoove and Showtime have been blessed with vocals, dance moves and lyrical skills to entertain. These singer/songwriters have been pursuing their dreams as an R & B group and composing music for over five years. They have a strong social media presence that continues to grow. Exit 21 recently linked with rapper/songwriter Safaree Samules for their newest collaboration "Bend Ova". This rhythmic caribbean sound will have the ladies whining their waistlines and of course bending over. Giving a spicy melody to R & B they added the talents of Safaree with his twist of reggae and hip hop.

The "Youngest Lawd" A.K.A. "Vendetta King" better known as ALKALINE gave an explosive performance at NEW RULES NYC 2018. Di place mash up wid bare shelling said in my patois accent. The young Jamaican dancehall artist hailing fromKingston, Jamaica was full of vibes. As soon as he hit the stage it was pure pandemonium. Hit singles like "Suave" and "Spoil You" had the crowds adrenaline pumping. So calm but energetic he had the ladies in a frenzy. Of course he had the bad mon in the audience sounding off to "Champion Boy" and "Juggernaut" . His fans got the chance to experience a lively show and dance along to all their favorite songs. Style and passion shows in his production. He fulfilled the expectations of his fans. Engaged with full force, Alkaline executed the euphoric presentation. Accomplishing yet another divine show. In Jamaica it would be said as " him sell off ".

CAPTURED MIXTAPE LAUNCH PARTY
Spice is one of the most well known dancehall artist in Jamaica. She has worldwide recognition for her attributes in reggae music. Spice has been on the seen since her teenage years, doing street performances at dances called Passa Passa in Jamaica. After being discovered she presented her hit "Fight Ova Man"(2005). Spice later collaborated with the "Gaza King" Vybz Kartel and their hit "Romping Shop" took the airwaves by storm. Spice never seem to be in a long hiatus. She consistently produces new music for her fans to keep them on their toes. Her latest project "CAPTURED" recently launched November 2018. This mixtape show her strength and ability to speak up against what she feel isn't right. She address a topic of colorism in one of her songs which made this mixtape a hit. She streams at number one on the charts with the hit "Black Hypocrisy ". This song speaks volumes of thruth about how colorism plays a huge part in the music industry. Amongst fans and the business side as well. Captured features some hot tracks produced by Swift and many others. My favorite is "Fake", "Cool It" and " Romantic Mood". Romantic Mood has a Patra feel to it as it samples the "Romantic Call" melody. The vibes at the launch party was lively. Showing off her dance moves Spice made sure she interact with all her fans who came out to show support. Also in attendance were some long time friends and dancehall artist Tony Matterhorn and Future Fambo.

Most valuable players in the dancehall. December 1st,2018 Mavado, Jahmiel and Alkaline took the stage by storm at Amazura night club in Queens, NY. In celebration for Mavado's birthday the trio decided to perform for the first time together in New York. Jahmiel's performance waa like a flash of lighting. He came in strong and powerful. His voice alone had the ladies in awe with his hit song " You Me Love". When the "Youngest Lord " voice echoed from the mic the crowd was fixated. Songs like " Champion Boy" and " Block and Delete" were performed by Alkaline. Introduced by Alkaline the Gully God dressed in all white from head to toe joined him in their duet "Farewell". It was Mavado's intro into his stellar showcase. He took it all the way back for his day one fans with songs like "I'm So Special", "I'm On The Rock" and many more. Surprise guest were in attendance. Some performed a snippets of music as well.
